Spools

The sewing room and the man cave are both areas where things are brought in and dumped.  We  have made quite a bit of progress cleaning and organizing these areas in the last few days.

 Driving by the garage sale again on our way home from water aerobics we saw some great shelves out front,  3 for $25.  That's our price range.  We bought them, of course, and I am glad.  One shelf is working great in the man cave the other two are mounted on the wall of the garage providing much needed storage.

 A hutch has been moved from the cave to the sewing room.  I was going to paint it first but that would have stalled everything and it doesn't really need it.  My sewing room is still being organized.  Things are being moved around and seem to be coming together.  Sometimes I even contemplate getting rid of something.

Yesterday I held a bag of old wooden spools in my hand wondering what, if anything, I might ever do with them.  This morning I saw these little people.  They look simple to make and would be great for the toy box.    Glad I didn't throw away those spools!
